Meet Victoria

The Full Story

Hi, I’m Victoria — a mother, wife, and a Waco, Texas native with a deep love and respect for birth.

I’ve had three babies of my own—one at The Starting Place in Temple, one in a hospital setting, and one born at home. Each of those experiences shaped me in a different way and gave me a fuller understanding of how personal and varied birth can be. They showed me just how powerful, vulnerable, and life-changing this experience really is.

My journey into doula work began at The Starting Place during my first birth. That experience opened my eyes to what it feels like to be truly supported in labor, and how much that presence matters. When my midwife later suggested doula work, something in me just knew it was the right path.

Over time, as I learned more about birth in our country and how often families feel rushed, unheard, or unsure of their choices, I felt even more called to this work. I wanted to help create space where parents feel informed, respected, and supported in their decisions whatever they look like.

My own experiences, including loss, have deepened that calling even more. They’ve taught me how much gentleness, steadiness, and care matter in these deeply personal moments, and I carry that with me into every family I serve.

I truly believe you already carry what you need to birth your baby. My role is simply to walk beside you offering calm, steady support, encouragement, and presence as you move through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum in your own way.

When I’m not supporting families, I’m home with my little one, homeschooling, baking, or outside enjoying slow Central Texas days. That same grounded rhythm is what I bring into every birth I attend quiet, steady, and fully present with you in the moment.
